Mr. Sifa Baseka is an Assistant Lecturer in Applied Mathematics at School of Computational and Communication Science and Engineering (CoCSE), NM-AIST. I attained my master’s in Mathematical and computer science and engineering (MCSE) at NM-AIST in 2020, specializing in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science. I attained Bachelor of Education in mathematics at the university of Iringa (UoI), in 2014.

His research interests are in environmental and fluid dynamics modelling, atmospheric and climate modelling, heat and mass transfer, and numerical modelling and computations in geomechanics. Currently I am a PhD student on Mathematical and Computer Science and Engineering, specializing at applied mathematics and computational sciences
